These are recommendations for the safety and enjoyment of shooting AR500 targets:

For pistol use place targets no closer than 12 yards. Magnum calibers should be placed at a minimum of 25+ yards.

For Rifle use, targets should be placed no closer than 100 yards, targets inside of a 100 yards will have more chance of ricochet and will absorb more damage, so if you are going to shoot targets inside 100 test shoot them to see if you are comfortable with the amount of damage and move it back accordingly.

Rounds with velocities over 3000+ FPS MV should be place past 200 yards.

First and for most Gunfighter Targets will tell you that the wearing of ear and eye protection is very important!

There is always a change of fragment or a round bouncing back when shooting steel.
